how many PCs can I activate stardock fences?

Hi, 

Can't find answer to this simple questions.

 

- Searching google people says 5

- Steam page also says 5

- There's no mention on Fences Startdock page, when looking into user agreements, it says 1

 

Can anyone confirm? If I buy now, how many PC can I active it on? Would it be different if I buy from Steam or from Startdock website?

your info page says only 1 activation.


So is the steam software pages page info incorrect? It clearly says 5 activations. Or is the steam version different?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

The EULA is correct for each platform; it's 1 concurrent activation per license.  That said, 5 is currently allowed programmatically - you will not be prompted in-app until you reach 5 concurrent activations.  When you do, you will have an option to reset them yourself.   

Eventually, we will match what the EULA (1) reads, activation limits will be enforced at 1; however, anyone who purchased prior to that time will be grandfathered in at the concurrent activation limit when they purchased.

For Software acquired from Stardock via an automatic recurring payment subscription method you may install, use and activate the Software on up to five (5) unique personal computers simultaneously for as long as your subscription remains active.
