Remote window disappears when trying to connect

I am using KVM and attempting to connect to one computer at the moment. What is strange, is that i can see the remote monitor in the thumbnail, and it reflects in real time. However, when trying to connect, the window opens, says its trying to connect and then disappears. Then, my Windows 10 notification box alerts me that the connection has been established, even though I cant see the window to control it. I have tried uninstalling on both machines, updating display drivers, and using the Purge MP tool. Nothing is working. I'm very close to requesting a refund should this continue.
