Computer Activations on Steam

I'm sorry to see that Stardock changed the activation limit from 5 computers to 1 computer for Fences this summer.  Does anyone know if that activation limit applies to copies purchased through Steam as well?  I wish I would have purchased this product a month ago before they essentially raised the price 5x by reducing this activation limit.

Yes, for what I know, all is now under 1 computer per license. Stardock direct or Steams.

Thanks for the feedback.  The reason I had originally questioned whether this was a mistake was section 1.b. of the EULA which reads: 

An Individual User may: Install the Software on another computer if the installation will not exceed the individual user activation limit of one computer set forth above.

I was originally confused by this section because I felt that it was strange to explicitly grant a user right to install the software on another computer so long as the total number of computers does not exceed one.  I was puzzled by how I as a user could leverage this use right.  But after long reflection I recognize the legal genius of this particular statement and respect Stardock all the more for it.

I have a feeling that some apps on Steam retain the 5 installs limit.

The number should be on the Steam product page.  Search for SAS and it should say the limit.
