Let's talk about pricing

I've been trialling Fences for 30 days now, and got an email for an offer to purchase for US$8.49 (including a 15% discount).

"Great" I thought, "let me buy it", so clicked the link and was taken to a basket where the price had now become £9.34, that's now US$11.78 at the current exchange rate, so what happened to my "special offer"??

What's worse is, if I select certain countries in the store, I can purchase it for an even lower price.

In my opinion this is just not cricket Stardock, your prices should reflect the current exchange rate and should be the same fair price in all countries. Why are you punishing me for being in a particular part of the world?

Now, I could've just selected the cheapest price and be done with it but I'm an honourable man, so came here to get your reasoning on this issue, so please advise? (Or not, up to you).

End of quote

For any discount, you need to use the link provided, or the code if that is what it's provided, to get it.

As for any different price, any exchange rate is calculated automatically from where you are ordering and after you enter a billing address.  VAT \ TAX is then also calculated for your region.
