Any way to get 2 DeskScapes on 1 Monitor (for 43" Ultrawide)

Instead of super-stretched scapes, would love to get 2 on 1 screen

Hi everyone,

Is there any way to enable two deskscapes on one monitor, a way to 'fake' the program out or get to the devs to request this feature?

I recently upgraded from 2 x 24" monitors to a 43" single ultrawide monitor.  I liked having two different screens using complimentary colors, and it'd be REALLY nice for a large monitor to help break up the single long screen.   I am willing to use any aftermarket program; but I'd still like to be able to use other programs (mostly games) with a full screen experience -- only the desktop is doubled but not the whole operating system treat it like two windows.

I have many deskscapes I love that just don't look great in this much larger view, and i'd rather not have stretched or empty space letterbox sides to use them -- much rather use two deskscapes side by side!

Can anyone help?

Basj,

That is awesome, thank you.  I have a fully registered version but i would even pay for this added functionality.

Yeah I'm hoping they could add it as a feature, more and more people going with ultrawide and out of my 100 or so deskscapes, only about 7 or 8 still looked good in 3840x1200 resolution.  (I have many from you, I love your great nature deskscapes).

I tried a 'fake' dual desktop using DisplayFusion, but that didn't fool DeskScapes unfortunately.   Not only would it be nice to have two options, it makes DeskScapes viable again.  I wouldn't have paid for DeskScapes if I originally had the long monitor, because you either end up with really stretched out scapes, or you end up with giant 'blank' spaces if you do centered (to make it look good/unstretched), but at that point you'd just go out and get 3840x resolution hd static image and no longer use DeskScapes.

I know it'd be DIFFICULT to program in dual desktops or trying to fake it.  But it wouldn't be difficult (I would believe) to choose two and have them run horizontal to each other as a single 'stitched' deskscape.  You might also want to add vertical stitched option while at it, for people with large vertical 2nd monitor.

I really think it'd open up a big market for DeskScapes for the ultrawide monitor users.

FWIW competitor DisplayFusion does this.   It allows you to break up one ultrawide monitor into two (or more) monitors, and each one can get it's own wallpaper or video (and it uses common video formats, not .dream files, so unfortunately I had to find source videos for my favorite Deskscapes).  It does a lot of other stuff besides animated desktop wallpaper; and this program's main function IS the video wallpaper... please don't fall behind to them.

Here is how they do it, devs please consider copying this feature:
