"all possible colors" not showing up on icons, look like they are either 16 color or 256 color.

I don't know what happened, but now all my icons are of the 16 or 256 color variety. What happened and how can I fix this? I'm using Windowblinds, Icon Packager, Object Bar and WinStyles.

Right Click on the Desktop go to Properties>Settings Tab and make sure 32bit is selected in the Dropdown box under 'Color Quality'. Provided your video card supports 32 bit color

Perhaps you updated your video driver through the 'Windows Updates'?

Are you using Windows XP?

It is showing 32 bit color. I updated my video driver only after I had the problem and it did not solve the problem. I'm using windows 2000. Everything else is fine as far as color goes except for the icons

Only Windows XP supports the 32bit Alpha Blended Icons...Your Icons should be in 24bit which are a little jagged but certainly not as bad as 16 or 256 color...mmm.

Is it all Icon Packages? or just a particular one?

Can you think back to a new program you installed or anything that may have changed?

Be sure to get the latest Video Driver from the manufacturer not the 'Windows Updates'.
