I started using this in a police dispatch center to minimize the number of keyboards/mouses on the dispatcher's consoles. My IT department says the software is a security risk but they won't say why. Does using the multiplicity software create a security risk? Note: both PC's use Trend Micro for virus protection. Thanks!! Nelson

I too would like to know what in particular your IT people are concerned with.
One thing you could note is that Multiplicity (MP) is designed to work on the local LAN - traffic does not traverse the Internet for anything other than activation (a one-time thing).
That LAN traffic to and from MP clients is also encrypted.
We also have a number of 911 centers already using Multiplicity.
You can have your IT people create a ticket and I can address any other concerns they have personally:

Thanks for your interest.
