New to WindowBlinds- slows computer to a crawl

As the title says- new to WindowBlinds. Running Windows 10 V1909, 6-core 3.9 GHz processor with 24 GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. I have tried 3 clean installs and a few different skins but system becomes unusable with all. I use Firefox and Edge Chromium (both have been excluded in WB settings), but there is an 8-12 second lag after I click on a new tab or try to navigate anywhere on my system. Not sure where to start. I like the results, just not able to practically use it.

Thoughts anyone?

Reboot and Re Install the latest version from your account https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/

Reboot , test and report back please.

Sorry for the slow reply- work has been crazy busy.

I did follow your instructions, but the problem persists. Overall, I've probably done 8-10 clean installs using the purge tool, reboots, etc. over the past several weeks. I've disabled security and even the VPN, just for the fun of it, before installs. Still the same. I like the program very much, but when you get down to it, it's just a minor visual enhancement that I can live without. As soon as I uninstall, everything goes back to normal performance. I'll play with it some more later as time permits.

If you can think of anything else without having to dive too deep, let me know.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try the cleanboot steps, might help to see if there is conflicting application running in the background as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486023/windowblinds-support-faq#cleanboot
