Titlebar position

Hey Guys,

Sorry if this topic is repeated.

[[ Combined if possible ]] option is the reason why I created this topic.

As shown below, the titlebar position in File Explorer is not positioned in place.

[[ Always place above ]] option works just fine though.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Groupy in a new created admin account and the issue is still not solved.

Please your kind support to instruct me in positioning title in the right place while using [[ Combined if possible ]] option.

OS : Windows 8.1

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more.

1) Windows 8 version. Please use Winver.exe to get the full version numbers.

2) Groupy version.

3) Your Explorer.exe don't look like Standard Explorer. Is that on Oldnewexplorer? Here is what I get.

Sorry, I realize I made a mistake after I posted that image. Here an Image with "Combine if Possible" on my system.

Thank you,

1) Windows 8 version

2) Groupy Vesion is 1.32

3) regarding File Explorer, I just downloaded ribbon disabler to turn off menu bar. I did that as a try to positioning Groupy tiltebar in place in File Explorer. I enabled that ribbon again as shown below.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/488142/groupy-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purge, reinstall using the latest version you just downloaded. Reboot after the reinstall. Retest and report back.

Thank you,

Thanks for your quick response

I followed all steps

1) Performed a clean boot in a new created local administration account

2) downloaded a purge file, run it and restart PC

3) reinstalled latest version of Groupy which is still up to date version 1.32

4) entered the serial number and restart PC

I made sure all softwares & services (after hiding all microsoft services) are disabled in order to know if there is an interference with other programs.

The issue still persist

Please try the following:

-For Win8/10 Users: Open the Start Screen, and type 'cmd'. Right-click on the search result and select 'Run as administrator' from below.

-Type: sfc /scannow

-Wait for the scan to complete (this can take several minutes)

Some help on how this looks should you need it:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929833/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system

If the SFC finds errors, but cannot fix them, please also run the following command in the same command prompt window:

dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Some help on how this looks should you need it:

The above command should assist with replacing any damaged or problematic system files. Please note, however, since it may require restoring certain files, this process can take some time and you will need to be patient until it has completed.

Please let me know whether this resolves your problem or if you have any additional questions.

Thank you,

I've a strange fault when openening a second window of outlook.

A blurred square appears. ..... It disappears when I resize the window by clicking on the titlebar.

I've Groupy settings configured to only show the tabbed bar with multiple windows

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.

1) Windows version. Please use Winver.exe to get the full version numbers.

2) Groupy version.

3) This issue is observed only on Microsoft Outlook? If so, MS Outlook version.

Thanks

Hi Basj,

Any updates

None yet from Support, they still on their Easter holiday. As for me, if it is my system, the only thing left I would do is reinstall Windows it self.
