can't uninstall Gal Civ II Dark Avatar

Hi!

Cleaning up a computer that has files from multiple hard drives ago (cloned to new drives).  I can't uninstall Gal Civ II Dark Avatar, as trying to do so brings a popup saying it is only possible using Impulse, which doesn't seem to be around anymore anywhere.  No idea how to find it to then uninstall what I have or to otherwise uninstall/remove the program.

 I think You have to first end task of this program completely then uninstall the program.

Thanks for the response! 

I haven't played this in at least 5 years. Is there a hidden process running?  It tells me I need Impulse to uninstall but I can't get Impulse. Or can I? I don't see it available.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

You can delete the files manually from where you have them installed, likely:

C:\Program Files (x86)

and perhaps in \Stardock or \[TheGameNam]

To get it out of add/remove programs, you can see if it's here in the registry and delete it:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\
