How to start using Multiplicity

I have just installed OD on my computer that includes Multiplicity, I have also installed Multiplicity on my Dad's pc, so far I have the window that shows the grid and the settings/hotkeys/audio and about tabs on both computers but I can not figure out how to get to where I can see his screen on one of my computer screens? I have tried double clicking on his computer icon on the grid but that only brings up the Configure dialog box.  I'm not even sure I have it setup correctly, when I hover over the system tray icon it says "disconnected".  Also, I click on the setting icon in the configure dialog box and it brings up a firewall settings dialog.  It would help if I could attach a screen cap here.  Someone please help me so this doesn't turn out to be a waste of time and money!  Thanks!

Thank you for replying, I think I have figured out the problem, I purchased the Object Desktop package that included several Stardock products, I thought I was getting the version of Multiplicity that would allow me to control another PC (not in the same room) in other words showing me the other PC's screen on my screen.  The version I have is "KM" which means the other PC has to be in the same room, only allows me to control the other PC with mouse and Keyboard, I need the KVM version which brings up the other PC's screen on my PC screen, kind of a "remote control".  As this was unclear to me and not be familiar with the terminology, do you think Stardock would allow a "Free" upgrade to the KVM version?  Or have I got this all wrong.  Thanks again for helping.
