Paid almost £50 for this and in the downloads area i can't download this in any way....

Whats going on? Can't download product paid for ?

I paid for this in full at a cost of £49 or there abouts and i 've logged in to install it on a differnet laptop so i can use it there instead and in the my downloads section theres no way to download it... I was clearly told i could use this as long as i wanted without subscription only if i didn't renew i'd not be able to get updates.

I don't want updates i just want what i paid for and the only option i get is Renew Subscription.  I won't be held to randsome like this...
If i can't use the software / can't redownload it to use after paying for it please provide a full refund and i'll find an alternative product.

On top of all this you now offer this for nearly half the cost with no refund on offer to those that paid full price.
Please advise on either how to download the product i originally paid for or arrange a full refund !

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Hopefully you saved your original download of the product ?

Check your Download section on your PC unless you saved it to a certain

folder . You can re download your app from there .

When downloading from your Stardock account those downloads are

good for a year then you need a renew subscription .

And that's quite correct.  All you need to do [even after the expiration of a subscription] is to copy the installer from the original computer to the new one...install there and activate with the key you will also have retained on the old computer.  That's how software works...;)

If i had the original installer would i be on here asking for one..goodness sake.. there's been nothing but hastle with this software, it's licences intallation and use from day one... all logged in previous messages at time of purchase.

Your answer was just as flippant as those two above... completly unhelpful.
Refer back to previous notes and issue with the install and use reported to you on purchase.

Just give me a refund this is like pulling teeth..  What a hassle just to use a fully paid app... i've never experienced such lunacy in 25 years of maintaining, building and using computers than i have dealing with this company and this app specifically.

There's nothing in the terms and conditions of sale at the time of purchase that states i'm limited to the one single  / inital download of the product forevermore. I've read it.. have you... Obviously not!

Either supply the original download or simply refund me, to be frank i'd rather have the refund as i want as little to do with your company or its products and ( forum users) ... as i can for the rest of my life after this experience.

To only recieve a responce after this hits a public forum of you own making is disgraceful also.

No reply from the company and no refund as asked for in the message to them. I'll be sure to advise and warn everyone I know that owns and uses a PC.... (thats a great many after working 25 years as a PC Repair Engineer) not to go anywhere near anything to do with Stardock EVER !

All you really need is the installer of the latest version BEFORE your sub expired.

Look at your Subs exp date, look online for the version that was available to DL at that time. This is the internet, google is your friend, someone will have the version somewhere. Install with your creds. Done

And lesson learned read before you buy, it is listed as a sub and after that date no new updates, you need to backup your installers. This has been gone over to death here in the public forums.

I'll add that I can't believe you expect a full refund on an expired subscription...lol...that is laughable.
