Hey, I just downloaded one of the desktopX themes and it is just one big file. Where do I extract it to? ;/ If someone could link me to a readme somewhere to explain, I would really appreciate it.

First, let make it clear that you need the Desktop X program.

Second, all you need to do is double-click on the file you downloaded and it will automatically be added to your Desktop theme list.

For your information, help requests such as this one should be posted in the "Help Discussion" forum (look at the top).
