Primary and Secondary connected but Mouse and Keyboard will not switch from Primary to Secondary

Both the desktop and laptop are on the same WiFi network.

They are the only computers on this network.

The router is downstairs so I can't connect them via Ethernet.

This used to work but stopped at some point, just getting around to asking for help.

Both are Windows 10.

Any suggestions?

Yes, I found this Fix in Connection problems post.

It repaired my issues and all is well now, thank you so much.
