Mouse Locks Up When Launching Tiles (Event Name: BEX64)

Error BEX64

I recently purchased "Object Desktop" which included many different applications.  I am having trouble with "Tiles."  At first the program worked great; however, today I tried to paste a link to my G-mail from Google Chrome Apps tab in Mozilla Firefox.

When the program launches and appears on my desktop, I get the follow error message (BEX64).  The mouse locks up and I have to shut down my computer.  I tried to reinstall the software and I still continue to get the same problem.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try the purge and reinstall step mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/485902/tiles-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reinstall it after the purge boot. And reboot again after the install. Retest it and report back.

Thanks

I downloaded the Purge Tiles file and installed.  I then got a message:  RegSvr32 - This module "c:\ProgramFiles|ObjectDesktop\Tiles|Tiles.dll" failed to load.

I pressed the enter key a few times and it seemed to do something behind the scene in DOS.  I reinstalled the "Tiles" software and launched it.  It now works great!  Thank you -

I forgot to ask a question.  Do you know why I was getting the the error message and my mouse locked up?  If I need to reinstall this software again, will I need to reinstall the Tiles.dll file as well?

End of gorflex69's quote

It sounds like a one off that reinstalling fixed.
