WRONG!

The reason they are so superior:

4-Piston Design: Two pairs of different diameter pistons provide a stabalizing effect that improves control and stopping power.

XT stuff is cheap and nasty. Hope discs are hand made. And you can get four pot calipers. I prefer the DH disc as above; I've been using them for four years and the stopping power is awesome. If you've seen one in real life they're twice the size of XT. Most DHers have been using Hope stuff for years and for a good reason - indestructibility, reliability, quality. Nuff said

Actually most downhillers perfer hayes....

top sellers for a reason.

I have worked on hope brakes. I dislike em.

Hayes as in Hayes Clutch?

If so I can see why considering the hookup with their pressure plate and clutch plate designs....

Iplural:

Any idea what a pair of 2000 Manitou SX LT (Long Travel, 100mm) Would go for? I want to sell mine. They have TPC Sport dampening.

Hummm..!! well i dont know what else to say.
Do you ride Mountain bikes...? if yes.. where?
What kind of bike you have?
Myself..I got a Giant XTC NRS.
Really cool, and i know how to ride it of course.

What a waste of money. You should have got a Kona Stinky.

I don't like your bike personally. I wouldn't pay that kind of money for it sorry. Most of the parts hanging of that thing I have laying aroung the house.

I only have one bike with an Aheadset...and it's a top quality one...but insists on working loose.....my 'real' bikes have Stronglight needle roller headsets...the 'normal' type....and have given me 20 years of hassle-free service....
Aheadset is the only kind of headset i can put on the giant since it has a "integrated" type headset. It hes no cups, the races roll right on the frame.
I don't like road bikes. I'm always suspicious of men who shave their legs...
OK Fuzzy I guess that's your deal..

But for the record the Giant Rainier is a mountain Bike.

Not sure what Jafo has.

Kona....I'll be modding my bike eventually...sleeving the alloy head tube to take a smaller steerer with standard cups and cones....at the moment it's an Easton frame let down by a sloppy head....
Sounds good mate. I am not sure about my headset but if it holds my rock shox on good and tight i will be happy.

Mine's a case of a crappy fork that is in a good frame...so putting the Zokes in with a standard headset will just improve it doubly....
