Activation email sent to an address that doesn't exist

I have an old account with an email address that is no longer active

If I log in with that email address and my password Stardock is asking for activation in an email I cannot receive. The same thing happens on wincustomize.com. So I am stuck in a loop.

Also I cannot merge the two accounts, because an activation email is sent to a no longer used email address.

How can this be solved?
