CursorFX Cursor disappears after clicking Windows Start Menu

It goes to the back of the Start Menu (using Windows 10) and the cursor doesn't appear in front of the Start menu anymore. Has there been any update to fix that? If not, may be a workaround?

P.S.: This bug's been making me mad ever since I got Win 10 and couldn't keep using my favorite CursorFX cursors that I used to on Win 7. Found out about this forum a few seconds ago and I wonder if anyone knows how to fix this. *makes a quick agnostic atheist prayer*

Hello

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more.

1) Windows version. Use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers

2) CursorFX version.

I know this topic is almost a  year old, but I just bought CursorFX and am having the same problem.  The cursors look great everywhere else, but as soon as I click the Start menu, they vanish.  If I move my cursor away from the Start menu, the cursor reappears.

Why hasn't this been fixed in nine months?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, I can't recreate your issue on my system. I have a Windows 10 system still running CursorFX v2.16. Here what I get on my system.

That said, I am not saying it is not happening on your system. But there is something making it not working properly. Please try the purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/485856/cursorfx-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall using the installer you just download. Reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back.

Thanks
