Missing Windows default cursor

Have a game that requires that Cursor** be turned off before play, or else no cursor is displayed. With CursorXP, I had a check box I could turn off the program and my default Windows cursor would appear. The Windows default cursor in CursorFX has disappeared, and I can't get my Windows cursors to work through the standard Control Panel means. I tried the Ctrl+Shift+C to disable FX, but then I wind up with no cursor at all. Assistance welcome.

Actuall, AzDude, I found a work-around. I turned off CursorFX as start-up program with msconfig, then rebooted. This will work, as I don't want to re-install CursorFX. I've already incorporated scores of cursors into the program, and a re-install will require that I reload all those cursors again, right?
