Can't activate Fences 2.0 on a new laptop

Hi,

I own Desktop Fences 2.0 since 2014 and used it with no issue, until few weeks ago when I got a new laptop. When trying to activate Fences on a new machine I get a message saying it's active on another computer and needs to be uninstalled. I've done it already but get same error all the time.

Can you please advise how to fix this. I've uninstalled and re-installed few times now with no success.

Also, if you can't help with above - if I buy Fences 3.0 upgrade - will it work if my Fences 2.0 is not activated? Or do I need to buy Fences 3.0 at full price (not an upgrade)

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Ok here's a list of things to do .

1 - To uninstall from Old PC do this Purge https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling

2 - To deactivate from Old PC https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#deactivateproduct

3 -  You can upgrade from Fences 2 to Fences 3 at a discount price scroll to bottom of page 

       where it says Own Fences 2 click here . https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/download
