Add new tab not working with remote desktop

I'm having an issue in Windows 10 where the '+' button to add a new tab does not work when using GoToMyPC or Splashtop to remote into a computer. All other features work perfectly. The button reacts to the clicking, but nothing happens. The three dot settings button works as well as dragging and right clicking on the everything. Just not on the '+' button. Would be a fix if there was a hotkey to open a new tab.

Tried reinstalling. I am not running anything else that modifies explorer or the desktop. Only "Fences" is running together on this PC.

Thanks for any input.

Running: Windows 10 1903 (OS Build 18362.239). All apps up to date.

Hi, I followed the FAQ:

1. Create new local account

2. Purged Groupy

3. Clean Boot

4. Reinstall = same issue.

As mentioned in the linked I posted above. There are some programs which not compatible with Groupy. I am not using those two programs you mentioned above, so I can't confirm the issue. But, as mentioned above, I have forward your problem to the support team for their input.
