Multiplicity not working when PC "A" is the primary but does work when PC "B" is the primary

PC "A" running Win 7 - PC "B" running Win 10

Hello, I've been running Multiplicity for several years on different computers. I have 2 licenses for Multiplicity and have each computer (PC "A" and PC "B") setup with a license. When I run PC B (Win 10) as the primary and PC A (Win 7) as the secondary, Multiplicity works just fine. When I reverse it; PC A is the primary and PC B is the secondary, the two machines don't connect. When I run a ping request from PC A to PC B, the request times out. I originally thought it could be related to my router, so I replaced the router. But the problem persists.

Can you provide any help for me?

Thanks,

Randal

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

When I run a ping request from PC A to PC B, the request times out.
End of quote

If pings are timing out, that would be an issue before MP is even involved (an IP issue).  If you are using a VPN on either PC, that could be a reason.  Also testing with any / all AV products disabled would be prudent.
