I love all of Stardock's software except for DeskScapes. The choice of backgrounds is not impresssive and I don't like the fact that when I use a regular background DeskScapes wipes out that background. I also was not impressed with the uninstallation procedure. DeskScapes did not show up in any uninstaller line up. I had to access the DeskScape Folder in Programs (x86) and click on the uninstall button. Couldn't Stardock have indicated how to uninstall their program without me having to go through hoops?

Deskscapes appears in the normal add/remove programs list.  I am unsure why you are not seeing it.

Regarding Deskscapes wiping out a background, I am not sure what you mean.  Could you explain in more detail the problem?

I don't know why I couldn't see Deskscapes in the normal add/remove programs list. It just wasn't there. And it wasn't in the program line up in two third party uninstallers either. Maybe the program didn't install properly. Who knows? Now as far as the background disappearing, the picture I was using for the background (not one from Deskscapes) disappeared and I got a mostly black background for the desktop. I never had this problem before I installed Deskscapes. Maybe there was a conflict with some other program or feature. I don't know.  Every other program from Stardock that I have installed, I really like and I find the prices ridiculously low. This one particular program I don't like. I'm sure that other people use and like the program. I just found that it doesn't work for me.
