SOLVED "The email address is not valid" error when trying to activate products.

Hi,

Getting a "The email address is not valid" error when trying to activate products from Object Desktop. I know the email is "valid" as I'm signed in with it here and also at the Stardock store website as it is the email registered to my account.

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Is this the email address you used to buy the product ?

You might even of typed in a wrong letter .

Yep same email and I copy and pasted the address, As I stated I am signed into both the store and this support site with the email address so it should be fine. I suspect they may have to manually add the email domain to their accepted list as it is a anonymous address added to my main email account.

Your "wrong letter" has given me the idea to try and type the email in manually as some systems/sites do not like copy and paste so I'll give that a try.

Yep, typing the email address in manually worked. Guess it did not like the copy and paste.

Thanks for the assist in getting this solved.

I also suspect you are the same AzDude that makes all the dreamscapes so thanks for those as well I use quite a few of them.
