Modifier Keys act like they're pressed down whenever returning to primary computer

Originally, I had thought this was the same issue as https://forums.stardock.com/495042/page/1/#3749957 as I had hit Backspace on the secondary computer and gotten the Ctrl-Alt-Del screen. However, what I've noticed since is that:

1) If I move to the secondary computer by holding Shift and moving the mouse cursor up

2) I do anything on the secondary computer, doesn't matter what, and

3) Use Shift to return back to the primary computer via moving the mouse cursor

Every time, my next key inputs act like Alt is being held down. I've been noticing it most in games. If I tap Alt before trying to do anything, then it behaves normally.

What could be wrong, and how can I fix this behavior? I'm moving back to Multiplicity from Input Director after having some issues there (the mouse cursor just won't go away, period, when I switch back from the secondary computer) and this issue is quite annoying.

Running Multiplicity KVM Pro 3.44 Build 00090 on both machines.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

I myself have observed some odd behaviors with modifier keys in the past and was able to reproduce (sort of) what you were seeing with the difference being that it was the Shift key itself that MP was still being seen as held down.

A Ctrl + Alt + Del seems to snap out of the issue if that helps.

That said, I have reported it internally but I cannot provide a timeline for a permanent fix.

Thank you for the report.
