Object Desktop Software Issue

This problem maybe due to the fact that I purchased Object Desktop Mgr rather than renew an expired Object Desktop Mgr already on my account.

- Install Object Desktop Mgr (Bitdefender blocked a file, but I allowed file access and it finished installing)

- Ran ODMgr stated no internet present.  Allow it through firewall.  Refresh to see software but nothing showed.

- Download all software individually, Installed two, both times Bitdefender tried to block but I overrode block

- Refreshed neither software showed installed.

- ODMgr shows download path E:\users\Tobin\Downloads\Stardock.  I moved all downloaded files there hit refresh but they failed to show up.

- Programs install c:\Programfiles(x86)\Stardock.

- No shortcuts created.

What should I do to fix Object Desktop Mgr to function properly?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Uninstall both programs ODM and Bitdefender and disable any other protection software

you might have running . REBOOT

Start fresh .... Install Object Desktop Manager from your account https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/

REBOOT and test to make sure ODM is working properly .

Then try reinstalling Bitdefender and see if you can get the settings right .

I don't use Bit so can't help you with that .
