error retrieving file

Help:

Been using stardock windowblinds few years back. It's working perfectly but it stopped receiving updates and when i try to check for any, a dialog box always displays "there was a problem downloading an update for stardock central: error retrieving file due to webexception". I already checked my downloads several times here in the site but there is no update available other than what is currently installed (version is 8.13). How can i update this to the latest one?

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit here.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Windowblinds is now at V10.74, and since you mentioned you are currently using v8.13. you will need to purchase WB v10 to get to the latest update. You could get WBv10 at a discount price since you already own WB v8, you can check if you qualify for it by click that link at the bottom of this page  https://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/download

How come my updates ended up to this version only? I thought when you purchase any of the products you will be entitled to all updates?

From what I understand. You are entitle for any update within the same product numbers. ie. WB 8 up until the highest offered WB 8.xx. When WB move to WB 10. Its a different thing. Just like Windows 8 to Windows 10.
