Deactivate before install new SSD?

Hey there

 

I want to install a new SSD. Should i deactivate DS8 before i install it on the new SSD?

How can i have a update that makes it work again on Windows 10 after version 1803?

Hello,

1) No, I don't think you need to deactivate DS8 before you install it on a new SSD. But just incase it does not work, you can always deactivate it later using these steps listed here : https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#deactivateproduct

2) DS8 might still work on your system beyond Windows 10 V1803. But, it is best, to use DS10 when it become available as upgrade option for all soon.
