Hello,

How to use fading out on a wallpaper slideshow when Fences is used ? I use Windows 8.1

When I start windows 8.1 there is the slideshow with fading out, then Fences is loading : no more fading out; what can I do ? There is always the slideshow but without any fading out between the slideshow wallpapers, they appear "cut" without transition effect.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you mean wallpaper cross fading between the current wallpaper and the next wallpaper coming in. I still see it on my windows 8.1 system with Fences running. But if you have the "Translucent Fence backgrounds (Windows 10 only)" turn on. It might disturb the appearance of the background of the fences.

Stardock Fences configuration windows -> Color & appearance -> Additional Tweaks -> Turn off/ un-select "Translucent Fence backgrounds (Windows 10 only)"

Try that and let us know.

Thanks

Yes, you are right; I use Windows 8.1 without "Metro" and tiles, just like Windows 7; so I have un-selected "Translucent Fence backgrounds" and restarted Windows; now I have crossfading between checked Wallpapers.

Thank you. Was it possible to have this help in french too or only in english ?

Also in Fences 3 french translation there is an error in "Couleur & apparence/ajustement additionnels" : we must say "Arrière-plans de fences translucides " and not "Arrière-plans d'fences translucides"
