Uninstalled WindowsBlinds, now there is a pernament black bar underneath explorer window titlebars

Hello,

I was giving the WindowsBlinds a try, but after uninstalling it, it seem to have left a permanent side effect on Windows 10. There is an ugly black vertical line on explorer window titlebars. On freshly opened windows it does not appear, but can be triggered by deselecting the active window. Then after it appears, it's permanent until the window closes. This is such a eyesore.

I really don't want to reinstall Windows because of this, but does anyone have a clue of how to fix it?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try this

1) Reinstall windowblinds.

2) try the purge steps of this guide : https://forums.stardock.com/486023/windowblinds-support-faq#reinstalling

Reboot and see if it help solve your problem.
