internet connection shortcut for objectdock???

hi there, I'm trying to find out the target path for my dsl connection so I can create a shortcut for objectdock. I dragged the icon in 'network connections' to objectdock but it says the path is incorrect.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

not my dsl, I disabled autoconnect on my settings...I just want to create a shortcut for it in objectdock, right now it says my path is incorrect.

I don't have a clue how you did that, but be that has it may...create a shortcut of your homepage (html) and put it on the desktop. Create an OD shortcut, pick an icon and drag (or cut and paste) your homepage shortcut to it

i don't want a shortcut of any homepage, I want a shortcut to my dsl dialup connection located in "network connections". When I create a deskop shortuct it's fine, but when I create it with OD using the same path, it doesn't work...wrong path it says.

You're right.. good on desktop, but no go in OD. I even tried to link it thru the registry with no luck. I know the file is {BA126ADB-2166-D-B1D0-00805FC1270E}, maybe someone else can figure out the argument necessary for use with OD. Sorry

Dump the shortcut to your connection in my documents or anywhere else you like...then create another shortcut on Object Dock to the shorcut you created in my documents.

In short, you create a shortcut in Object Dock that points to another shortcut on your file system. Works great.
