Activating Old Versions

Hi, I have a question about Legacy versions of stardock software, in this case WindowFX but it'd be nice to know for others as well.

Will using a newer activation key (for example for WindowFX 10) work on a legacy version of the software (for example 4.0) and if not, is there a legitimate way I can get a key for those Legacy versions (paid or not)?

Thanks a lot, Basj.  I really appreciate the help.  I've already seen that part of the FAQ and it isn't very helpful.  I really appreciate you forwarding that on for me.  :)

That's fine lol, it's no urgency.  Thanks again, Basj.

End of quote

No, each key is for a specific product and for a specific version.

At this time, we do not sell, offer, or support older versions of products.

Thanks anyway though.  If in the future you do start offering older keys or removing the 30-day trials on legacy versions I would be very happy to hear about it.  Thank you.
