IconDeveloper wont open after installation - Screen frozen

Hi there:)

Firstly may I wish all in this forum a very Happy Christmas.

I have Windows 8.1 Home Edition on a Dell XPS 8500 with 16 gig ram and an i7 processor.

I downloaded a 30 day trial of IconDeveloper. The program installed with no issues. I disabled all security software before first installing...

My problem is when clicking to start the program the screen appears but all is frozen. I cant even close the box without using (ctrl/alt/delete) task manager.

I tried uninstalling then reinstalling the program to no avail.

I then tried different compatibility settings using the troubleshooter with no luck.

In case the main file was corrupt I downloaded again from the official site but that did not work.

I have purchased a number of Stardock products. This is the first time where I have had a problem.

I look forward to hearing from anyone who can advise.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I just try the trial version of IconDeveloper on my Windows 8 VM and I did not find any problem installing and starting it. Please try re-download the installer and try again.

I tried again uninstalling, downloading, reinstalling and experienced the same issue  - I  just sent a support request - If they can't help, I guess that I will have no choice but to uninstall the program and try to find a similar product elsewhere.

I really have no idea why this issue is happening only for this software and nothing else. All other Stardock software works really well for me.
