Gray Screens on Secondaries Multiplicity KVM Pro

All But Two

Hey support team. I have Multiplicity KVM Pro.  I have a laptop, and 5 PCs configured for Multiplicity.

All the machines with no monitor attached show me a gray screen and nothing else. The laptop as well.

The 2 PCs which have monitors attached work as expected with multiplicity. One which HAD a monitor attached earlier today was working fine. I removed the monitor, now I get a gray screen on it as well.

HELP!!!

Oh, TeamViewer works fine on all of them.

Hey Big Jim,

I am not into Multiplicity. But I saw this solution posted in our Multiplicity FAQ. Have you tried it out?. https://forums.stardock.com/489366/page/1/#3717862

Let us know if you still need assistance.

Thank you,

Found that for myself before posting this. Didn't help. All my PCs are always set to never turn off the screen.

These three have monitors.

These do not have monitors attached.

Laptop, which of course has a screen, looks like the 3 gray ones above.

One of the gray ones HAD a monitor connected a few days ago, and worked fine with KVM. But not now..

That is not the only thing discussed there RND.

I also discussed another option here for laptops:

That said, and what will always work, is having one of these plugged into the Secondaries in question.

They are dirt cheap and again, always work.

Thanks, Sean. I guess I missed the laptop link. As for the other, I will order some. Thanks!

Meanwhile, I managed to get things working by just connectin 2 to 3 PCs to one monitor, as a temp workaround.
