Sins of a Solar Empire

Hey guys,  i purchased a physical copy of Sins Of a Solar Empire at a store, i want to know how to add it to steam so i can get it updated, yes i have a product key and disk, and its currently installed and  i put the serial in the game, and added it to steam using the "Add a non-steam game" but i want it the more official way, i purchased a physical copy of Civilization V and steam added it to my library automatically, i was hoping for the same because i want it to be updated and be able to do stuff online and mods and stuff.

The original Sins of a Solar Empire isn't on Steam, so it's not possible to add it.

You would need to purchase Sins: Trinity or Sins: Rebellion if you want it on Steam.
