Lag on second monitor

I purchased Object desktop today - primarily for Multiplicity and Fences. However, I am facing lag issues when the cursor is on second PC.

My master is a desktop and slave a laptop placed just beside the router. I cannot connect laptop through Ethernet but I know for sure the WiFi is great ! (lack of Ethernet port on laptop - thereby needs a separate adapter for USB connection. Cannot do that anytime soon).

I followed the debugging steps at https://forums.stardock.com/486104/multiplicity-support-faq#seamlesskvm.

1. Used IPs

2. Restarted PCs

3. Disabled firewalls

4. Master and Slave are on Windows 10, same resolution , and are kept idle during testing

The lag continues unabated. If I try to be more adventurous, the cursor gets "stuck" on the slave, and no amount of coaxing including unloading Multiplicity on the laptop will get it back. I have to "switch user" on master to reset.

I had used InputDirector before. I re-downloaded that for testing and that seems to work with the same setup.

Could you please help?

Hello,

That really needs to be tested as it is the best medium.  Please let us know when you are able to obtain the USB / Ethernet adapter and test.
