Is there an upgrade path from the Steam version to the KVM and KVM Pro versions ?
(That will not depend on steam being installed)
I found out about this awesome software via STEAM. Had I known, I would have bought directly and not through STEAM.

To be clear then, I am somewhat uncertain what the difference between KVM and KVM Pro is.
Is it as follows ??
Steam version can seamlessly "keyboard and mouse share" to a single other computer.
KVM is a single control computer with seamless keyboard and mouse access to 8 others.
(implies the other screens are visible to me)
KVM Pro can have other computers in other rooms, and the screens can be shown to the computer I am sitting at. I can sit at any one of 9 computers and see and control any of the others. (This is my need)
I tried installing the KVM Pro Trial, but I can still only seamlessly connect to one other PC at a time, not two.
KM 'Seamless' connections are ones where you need to see the monitors of the PC you are wanting to control.
KVM allows for 8 concurrent Seamless connection of the type I detailed above and 1 KVM connection - where you connect remotely to a PC you cant physically see.
KVM Pro has all the same but allows you to KVM connect to 8 remotes.
