"Object Desktop requires internet access to login."

So, apparently the workplace firewall must be preventing me from accessing Object Desktop. I just installed it and when trying to login (I'm obviously online), it immediately replies "Object Desktop requires internet access to login."

Is there any way around this? Any kind of website-based login validation? I know other programs have that...

Ok, I get it. Object Desktop is really just the download manager for all the OTHER programs, and each program can be downloaded manually, and verified via the website-based validation. Very good.
