KVM Pro multiple Primary PCs

Hello, I currently use Multiplicity KM (from Object Desktop) with two primary PCs - one at home and the other at work. I would like to purchase the KVM Pro Upgrade. Will I be able to continue with the same setup of having two primary PCs?

Thank you

Hello,

The versions are not different in that regard.  If you are managing your Primaries and Secondaries by demoting and promoting what they are depending on where you are, that will be the same.

Just remember, per license, you can only have one Primary active at any given time (that is not the case for corp SKUs that can have many concurrent Primaries on the same license if purchased that to do so).

I'm not managing Primaries by demoting and promoting - both Primary computers stay Primary without issue and my concern was that I'd need to start managing them. Is this the case?

Hello,

Hmm, a result of the OD sub and its 5 concurrent activators no doubt and one I had not considered fully.

That said, any Pro upgrade from it would not carry the 5 - only 1 unless you purchased the corp version (no discount for that I am afraid).

That, however, would not stop you from being able to have multiple Primaries if you kept one on your OD sub key.  You would just need to decide what location would be best served by the Pro license.

Thank you. So after purchasing the upgrade, I would have both the OD license as well as a KVM Pro license?
