Help with - control locked on computer doing update (as example) is there a way to switch using keys or something?

Multiplicity is the shit.
But the one thing that always gets me cursing is when one computer starts an update and I accidentally move the mouse on the non-updating computer a little too far over.. and .. bang.. locked on the update computer screen.
I'm sure there is a way to fix this or get around it using a key stroke wether setup or what..
but I haven't found it yet..
If you know a way to fix this so I can just press a couple keys or whatever to get it back to non-locked computer let me know
