Why should I have to opt out of installing trial versions of other apps when updating a current one

First I love stardock you make great apps but it seriously bugs me when companies do stuff like this my Groupy update had a pre checked button to install a Start 10 trail when it updated today and If I didn't actually read the page as many people wouldn't and just kept clicking "next"I would of wondered what the hell happened to my start menu.

This is kind of predatory behavior and the kind of stuff that bad apps that make you install the Yahoo toolbar and other crap do.

I have no issue with having it on fresh installs but when updating a pre existing app it just seems wrong
