multiplicity hot keys quetion

Installed on both of my computers . To swap between the 2 computers I believe I need to activate the hotkeys. My problem is the hotkey choices all two of them  have been used for years for Outlook and Excel. I cannot get it to let me choose a different combination for Multiplicity. What am I doing wrong? No Documentation that I can find. I renewed my subscription to Object desktop today, I have this and Groupy wants a product Key that I was not given??? What can I do?

You can also check My Downloads https://store.stardock.com/myaccount

Let me ask a stupid question. Would in not be a good suggestion that a mention in my receipt that I should use my object desktop key for all modules all the rest took me entering it once.

That answer solved the Groupy question but still have the Mutiplicity hot keys questions

Have you tried Keyboard Launchpad to set new hot keys ?

I set a hot key there successfully. Should it not switch the live window on the Primary computer to see the secondary when I execute the hot key combination? That is what it would do on my KMV switch I used to use on my second desktop. Am I expecting something it is not meant to do? How should I have known to go to the keyboard launchpad? Thank you for your help.

Am I correct in thinking when I execute the hot key combo it should switch from the primary display screen to the secondary? I like your waterfall  theme.

Hotkeys for MP can have 2 modifiers followed by the activator key - for example, Ctrl + Alt + F9... or Alt + Shift + F10.  It would be hard to imagine any app used 'all' the possible combinations.

Try removing the keys you have set in MP and creating new ones with additional modifiers.

I read a suggestion about changing hot keys but there was no option below to reply.  I hhave done as you suggested and used keyboard launcher to change the hot key, Although the password is entered on main computer the secondary is grayed out, I have a screen grab if you need to see it.

When I try to log in your system tells me either my email or password are incorrect. They both worked yesterday with no problems. Not really a crash/ freeze but my problem was not a choice. When I first tried to select a hotkey my only 2 choices were already used and until I was able to post and get a response in a forum and followed the suggestion to try the Keyboard Launcher to set a new hotkey. I guess I was supposed to know that without any of finding that in what little instructions Multiplicity has. Multiplicity was one of the features I wanted and chose to make my purchase. I got too excited at the thought of a virtual KVM switch which after making my purchase it is only a KM switch that does not work. Attached is a screen grab of the second PC that is grayed out. The passcode is entered. The captcha is not on the page makes it hard to submit

The hotkey options are on the Primary....

Thank you, does it make a difference that the secondary is a wireless network connection? If you do not mind, my past experience using a KVM setup allowed me to use the primary monitor, mouse, and keyboard for both computers is Muliplicity the same?

Ethernet is a much prefered connection medium but it will connect, and function, over a solid wireless connection.
