More than 3 applications

Running Windows 10 x64 build 1803 and the latest version of group.

If I create a group with more than 3 applications within it, save the group and reopen, it only shows the first two applications in the group.

For example I want to bring my 3D printer apps together

Cura 15.04.06

Simpilfy 3D

Netfabb

I can overlay them to create a group, I save the group but when I reopen it, only the first two apps are in the group.

 

If I try other applications such as Corel Paint Shop Pro , these open up in individual windows ontop of each other.

 

So basically I can't create any groups of apps for opening via the Windows Start - Saved Groups option.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

It was an issue, with some apps, in past versions but it has been thought to be resolved.  Some (and Neil can correct me here) had to do with how long an app took to open. 

Some questions:

  • Does it happen every time you open the saved group - say if you did it 3 times in a row, the last app (Netfabb) is always opened but ejected from the group?
  • Is the ejected app a beast to open - meaning - it takes a long time to do so?
  • Are you able to save any groups at all and have them open properly?

Hi 

 

In answer to your questions,

The first application of the three is always the one removed in all groups created, regardless of how many times I open and close the group in question.

The application removed is not a beast to open

The same thing is happening across all groups I create

Never used the purge or reinstall as this was a first time installation after purchasing it two days ago.

I did run the purge option, downloaded the app from your site, re-installed, I'm sure I have V1.2 before.

Can't get more than 2 apps to open now >:(   Is the version I download the RC V1.12?
