Hotkey + Groupy + Multiplicity

Hotkey

Product: Groupy
Version: 1.12
OS: Windows 10 Pro

Issue Description:
The Groupy Hotkey doesn't work with groupings of Multiplicity windows.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open 2 or more Stardock Multiplicity KWM windows.
2. Create a group with these windows.
3. Attempt to use the Groupy Hotkey.

This is disappointing as I would've expected these products to play nicely together.

Interesting.... I was able to confirm this as well.  I will place an internal ticket to have it looked at.

Thank you for the find and report.

Actually, and I feel a bit silly for not noticing it initially, it is 'working as designed'.  By that, with how MP works, and if it is the active window, all keyboard input would be sent to it - that would include the hotkey combination.

Yes, I had thought of that too. As a software developer, I both agree and can conceptually understand how Groupy is behaving as intended in this context.

However, this does leave Groupy users without any means (other than mouse input) to switch between this special class of grouped windows

I use Multiplicity (instead of Teamviewer, VNC, ...) to connect to many VMs (Virtual Machines.) The ability to group Multiplicity windows and navigate amongst them via keyboard input would be a huge time saver. Do you think there's any possibility of providing a "special" Hotkey allowing user-navigation between such windows?

Thx,
Michael

My initial internal report had me in a conversation with the powers that be (the lead dev included) on your observation so the seed has at least been planted - that is the best I can offer at this point I am afraid.

Thank you again, however, for the report.
