Groupy Trial installed Fences3 now Fences2 will not work

I downloaded the Groupy trial and it seemed to install Fences3. I have had Fences2 installed for months and it has worked without issue. After installing Groupy, a dialogue box popped up for Fences 3 asking me to enter a serial number or choose trial. Fences3 doesn't appear in the Add or Remove Programs list. I tried purge.bat but it does not work. I tried to uninstall Fences2 and it says uninstall.exe is in use. I have rebooted several times. I am using Windows 10 Pro 60-bit, Ver. 1709, OS Build 16299.371.
