Avast Internet Security

Hello :)  Long time multiplicity user and lover here O:)

I recently upgraded my antivirus to Avast Internet Security and it killed multiplicity... I attempted many of the filters and exceptions to make it work to no avail :hugme:

I was forced to resort to Mouse Without Borders

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/garage/profiles/mouse-without-borders/

as a replacement... It installed quickly and efficiently, and works ok, but it is not multiplicity, so I feel dirty using it 8C    Hopefully you guys can make some type of bugfix so that multiplicity works with avast... I moved over from kasperky because I had to, but avast is rated better anyway...

I miss multiplicity! :)

cheers,

Hello,

I have forwarded your report to the Stardock support team for their review and recommendations.
Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates.

We really do appreciate your feedback, thanks.

On install, any AV software product should look to Windows Firewall rules and try to replicate what has already been allowed - Avast is not great at this.

As one would suspect, its impossible to keep up with all the changes, settings, operations any other software has if there is a conflict with one of our products.  Its far more effective for us to point to products (in this case, an AV product) that we know plays nice with ours.

As you mentioned, Kap works well - as does AVG.
