Touchscreens and mouse clicks

Hoping I can get some help or advice here. We are using multiplicity on our installations to help the operator to control 4 stations. These four stations are also touchscreens. So far we have commissioned 4 of 13 installations, we are noticing and getting reports of possible issues with touch and multiplicity:

When the operator touches a screen it seems to also issue mouse clicks on the screen multiplicity is on, or the touch doesn't registers a click (more than likely a mouse up event) on the station they are touching unless the mouse is on the same station.

I tried searching the forums without any comments about touchscreens. So I wonder if this is a new aspect not yet tried...

System setup:

Dual work stations per installation (running a license of Multiplicity on each):

- 4x Windows 8.1 Professional

- 2x 17" monitors w/multi-touch

- 2x 26" monitors w/multi-touch

So far the addition of multiplicity in our deliveries has been received very well, however this item is causing frustration and concern from the end operators.

Cheers

Edd

This is really the only option in MP for touchscreens and may help with this issue (and perhaps your other).  Let's start here and let me know if it helps:
