BUG: Windows Explorer Windows Jumping Screens

This may not apply only to windows explorer ,  but this where i have noticed it most and seems to happen on both automatic tab groups and on manually created groupings

When you group Windows Explorer windows and move to another screen it appears that the other window positions in the tab group don't follow the group , and the tab group will jump back to their original position on the old monitor

this seems to be intermittent but happens pretty often

it seems to go away temporarily if you unmaximize the screen and happens more often when the windows are maximized on creation

Hello,

I can not recreate it. Can you show us this bug with a video. Appreciate it.

I can confirm this happens not only with windows explorer but with any application. Say I have a group of windows and all of them are on 2nd monitor. I move the group to 1st monitor and close the active window tab and the group goes back to 2nd monitor.

Were these windows grouped via a rule or manually grouped?

In testing here I cannot reproduce this and cannot explain why this would happen either.

I have been able to reproduce through both methods

I am running Windows 10 Professional with latest updates if that helps at all

Happens in both cases: automatic grouping via rule and manual grouping.

Another issue I noticed just now was I had two windows explorer windows grouped. I closed one tab and the other one got resized to like a 1-inch by 3-inch rectangle and I had to manually maximize the window.

Hello,

We are looking into it. But its best if you could provide us with a video grab of the problem so that we can actually see it happening. And figure out the problem. Since we can not reproduce the problem in our side.
