( Resolved )cannot activate fences on a new computer with a valid key

from Stardock Forums

I cannot get the activation key to be accepted even though it is current and emailed to me by Stardock. I am trying to set up fences on a new laptop.

Any ideas?

Ah! found the solution:

Searched my backups (external drive) for the original download in 2016, (v2) from my now defunct desktop.

Copied this over to the new laptop and applied key sent by Stardock.

Bingo! It works

Hello,

You need to use the same email and the same key on every activation.
