DeskScapes 8 not compatible with Fences 3

DeskScapes 8 causes Fences 3 to lose double-click hiding of icons in Windows 10

Just purchased Object Desktop and installed all apps.

Configured Fences and everything worked. Then tried to launch DeskScapes which looks good. However, I noticed that Fences lost the double-click feature to hide the desktop icons; it would only hide the fences but the icons remain visible.

I uninstalled DeskScapes and the Fences double-click to hide the fences and icons worked normally again.

Later, I tried installing DeskScapes 8 again and the same thing as described above happened again. I am not reinstalling DeskScapes until the issue is resolved.

My mistake. I see the thread took on a 2nd life later with people describing what you're describing, and it came to contacting Support:

I don't know if it ever got chased down, but that's what you'd need to do. You've probably seen the Stardock holiday notice at the tops of the pages, so it will be awhile. Don't send them additional emails, each time you do it puts you back to the end of the line.
